Introducing new peafowl.

I wanted to know if it was ok to intraduce 2 young peahens (maybe 2yrs old) to my older Peahean and Peacock. I have a Peahen and Peacock in a very large pen. 2 young peahens were dropped off at my farm. I have wormed and did everything needed to make sure that they are healthy. I put the new girls in this morning with my peafowl and my girl is being so "bossy" to the new girls. She is chasing and pecking them. Will they settle down. The male could care less about the new girls just me older female. I did keep them apart for over a week, with a fence between them so each side could see each other.

How big is the pen? can she escape the boss?

I don't know the exact size but I remember when my hubby and I made the pen we used 200ft of fencing. There is lots of logs and all different sizes perches plus a house to go into for winter and night.

when you put her in a pen that already had peas there is going to be some pecking, i would kjust kinda keep an eye out for a day or so, sounds like your pen is plenty big.
They will be fine , i never had any problems after a few days mine become part of the bigger flock.
