So I have 6 new pullets that I'm trying to integrate into my already somewhat large flock of 11 CX-6 weeks old, a BO a JG and a BA-5 weeks old and a SLW roo that is 6+ month old. No one harasses the new pullets except for the BA or the JG (can't tell them apart but I do have the meanie pinpointed). When I introduced them I put them in a cage inside the main run for a few days so that they could become accustomed to each other. But there is still that one turd that is picking on them. Should I remove the pullets or segregate the bully? Help, I don't wanna lose any of my newbies!!!

If everyone gets along, I'd put the bully in the cage in the run with the rest. Or you could isolate the bully away from the rest for a few days, then toss it in with the rest, it's now the "new" one. I've always avoided intergrating, too much time/energy & I got enough going on caring for my Mom. Being that I have 4 - 6 as "Pets with Benefits" I keep what I have or change all out.

Well.....
Is the bully pinning them down and beating them unmercilessy?
Is there blood being drawn?
If so, I'd segregate the bully.

Do the subordinates have plenty of space to get away and places to 'hide'?

How old are the new pullets?
The bullies are only 5-6 weeks old?
