IDK if introducing is the right word, because they've met before, but they don't get along.
Basically I have 18 chickens. 7 are golden comet hens, very feisty. If they didn't lay I would think they were roos, lol. And then 10 eight week old chicks, and a two year old silkie roo.
At the moment, the hens sleep with the roo (in the same coop, but not next to each other), and the babies sleep in a rabbit hutch. This works alright at the moment, but the chicks will grow eventually (chicks grow so slowwww, lol. I want big chickens already). When the time comes do I just leave them in the coop to sleep? I also am wondering when to let the chicks start free roaming. They've been in the coop during the day for about a month now, and seem a little small to be let loose. How old should they be?
