Hi--
I have a question about introducing turkeys to each other. I have two 3 month old BBWs and 6 week old heritage poults (mixed). The BBWs are living with 6 leghorn/Australorp mixes and are doing fine. I want to add the heritage poults with the group. I've put them in a cage and have them currently in their pen, so the birds can meet. No one seems bothered by this.
I realize the BBWs are bigger. How nasty is this going to get if I let them run together? Should I even attempt this?
