introducing roo to young pullets

I am thinking of getting a young roo, 3 months old, and currently have 5 pullets, age around 3 months as well. Will it be ok to introduce a roo now or will they fight etc? I don't want anyone getting hurt. I have a separate coop that i could just keep him in, and leave the pullets out free range, but don't know if he will be distraught being caged alone. Any help would be great thank you this is my first go round with chickens!

There is bound to be some squabbling, but it may go better with a roo than another pullet. Don't forget to quarantine (don't mean to harass you, but you didn't mention it, and it's so important.)
