Hello all,
I believe my wife will also be joining and may duplicate some info but here is a summary.
  1. We are new this year to chickens and Guinea Foul.
  2. We have 4 chickens(funny story) and 4 Guinea. I believe 2 male and 2 female. Both groups are about 2 month old and outside in the coup together.(not going well)
  3. I will mangle the name because these are mainly my wife's birds but I have come to care about them all. (don't tell). We have a Rhode Island Red, NH Red, Orpington and a Dominique.
  4. We live in VT
  5. My main concern right now is the Guinea are harassing the chickens. The Chickens are really scared and not as social as they were a week or two ago. Because I care about them all I want to do something to help. Any suggestions?
  6. Also one of the female Guinea has a bad limp.

Welcome to BYC!
Two really good things to do for them is #1 proper diet/feeding and #2 secure/predator proof housing.
