Introducing Silkie Chicks into the Flock

I have a flock of 8 big girls, and currently have 4 x 5 week old Silkies.

Ideally I'd like them to be able to share a run with the big girls once they are big enough...but am unsure if this will work out to be the happy chook haven I'd like it to be.

Am I better off just keeping them separate? Any advice/tips would be most welcome.

I too will be adding silkies to my flock. I heard that silkies get picked on more because of their size. Maybe try a slow introduction with a barrier of some sort between them and see how it goes. keep me updated!
