Introducing stray chicken to flock

This bird wandered into our backyard in the city. At first we thought one of our girls got out and got attacked then realized it's a naked neck.. After trying for a week we finally caught it. I currently have it quarantined from my main flock in a dog kennel. I've had my nine birds since they were chicks and they're all comparable size. Mine were all vaccinated for mareks and coccidosis. If this hen isn't claimed, what do I need to know about introducing it to my flock or anything I should be worried about?

I would quarantine for a minimum of 2 weeks, dust for mites/lice, and worm. I believe that is a cockerel rather than a pullet.

Oh dang, I won't be able to keep it if it's a cockerel. Is that the consensus?

If it is cockerel, that might be why it's a stray? Some people just drop off their unwanted animals.

Cockerels have pointed saddle feathers, which that bird has. Sorry you cannot keep him.
