Hi, I've been lurking for a while, taking in all the excellent advice and tips.
I've recently run into a bit of a problem and am looking for some advice.
We're on year 1 of turkey rearing. We have 4 adults (1 tom and 3 girls). We have 3 teenagers (1 boy and two girls). The teenagers are 5 months old now, and are kept in their own enclosure. They're starting to look full size, and I'd like to put them all together with the adults.

Is there any reason I shouldn't do this? There has been some squabbling through the fence, but I think it might be resolved properly if they can sort their pecking order without a fence hindering them.

Many thanks!

As long as they have had the see but no touch stage, they can be introduced. Any pecking order squabbles will be settled quickly as the adults put the youngsters in their place.

Thank you for the quick response. That’s really helpful. The rainy weather here seems to have calmed them all down so I’ll give it a little longer before putting them together.
