(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Planning to get four hens in August, currently in phase 1 of my coop/run build.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Zero, gonna get four if we move where I think we're moving.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Planning on an Easter Egger, Speckled Sussex, Black Copper Marans, and a Polish
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Looking forward to gardening buddies, eggs and compost.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening! Permaculture, homestead stuff, just got into mycology which is nothing like plants. Noob at everything, but I'm loving learning.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
My local fb chicken group sent me here when I showed up with a billion questions lol
