I recently just took on three chicks from my sons school. also first time chicken owner. two of the chicks are roosters that i had to get rid of, to a good home of course. city ordinance don't allow roosters. now i have one, that looks like an ameraucana around 12 weeks old, i was just given a 4-6 week old silkie. my questions are..can they live together? and how do you stop them from peking at each other., the little one is the one attacking the big one

As long as no wounds happen they could be fine. I would wait until the younger chick is closer to 6 weeks though, just MO though. I have my 11 week old Ameruacanas with 15 week old Marans, Brahmas, and many other breeds.
