Introducing two flocks

I am introducing two flicks of birds together and there competing with each other And fighting with each other. Will they eventuly find a pecking order or will they continue to peck each other. One bird is bleeding so I separated her from the rest.

Update one of the birds is unusually aggressive toward the rest I separated out that one and the rest calmed down. Will it also calm down in couple of days or might it continue to attack others? Hoping that the stress of moving today will make it act out and it will calm down. Also the one that is bleeding is injured on belly and there are no feathers is that from birds or is it from predator like racoon grabbing them through wire?

Sometimes particular quail just don't like each other and nothing you can do will convince them otherwise. You could try having a divider in so they can still see each other and see how they feel after a couple of weeks. If all seems calm try removing the divider. Sometimes it takes a little longer, and sometimes they will never learn to like each other. Sometimes one particular individual upsets everyone.

Quail attack each other around the head, not the belly so your injured one likely has been attacked by a predator. I know nothing about racoons so hopefully someone else can advise you there.

It's good that you found the aggressor. It might be okay after a couple of days in isolation, but it also might not. I would try putting it back in and watch. If it continues to be aggressive, I would cull.

The belly wound doesn't sound like fighting. They usually go for eyes and the head. Sometimes they'll attach other places, but it would be hard to get the belly.

That’s what I thought....thought I had got the last of the bastard racoons. Must have ran away right before I walked up. Thought I heard a rustle in the creek side of fence. I separated her on one side of hutch. Put hurt bird in small area with aggressive bird and rest of birds in large area at night to keep them safe. The aggressive bird was attacking my original birds my pecking at there heads but was not aggressive towards her flock which included the hurt bird. Have to hope for the best in morning and hope they all get along don’t want to kill any birds just yet.

What worked for me is putting the bully in a cat carrier and let her sit there in a dark room for 24 hours.

Thanks I built my enclosure so I can close off the different areas for cleaning and I made a smaller area for my birds that are old enough to go out but still too young for rest of adult birds. So the aggressor went in the inclosure area to calm down but I might need to cull her.

I’ll keep her separated for couple days and see
