Introducing two single hens

Thank you so much to everyone who helped me here. My two hens are now getting along quite nicely, at least during the day. I haven't tested them overnight in the same cage yet. I think I will continue putting the new one in her own cage if she isn't already there in the evening, and they can let me know when they are ready to sleep together themselves.

Good call...slow and easy is usually the best route.

Just went thru a very similar situation. Lost one of my two hens to a coyote. Introduced a new hen to my remaining hen without too much fanfare. Glad things are starting to look up for you and your ladies. Any updates?
