Introducing Uno updated with new photo

our first ever...he/she is a Brown Chinese...in the photo he is about twelve hours from the egg and just getting his/her bearings...the chicks, hatched last week have adjusted to their big friend...when I checked on them before hitting the sack last night they wre all cuddled up around Uno dead asleep...they are so precious...there are two more goose eggs under Zoey, the Partridge Rock...the goose layed every other day so we are having staggered hatch...Lulu the White Rock hatche out the chicks...father is a Welsummer and the chicks are EE, Cochin, Brown Leghorn and I think a Partridge Rock...fingers crossed for more gooses!

after a brief swim in the kitchen sink, I returned Uno to the brooder with his buds the chicks and went to check the other two goose eggs under the chicken hen...one is hatching as I type so Uno will have a sibling very soon! I am happy for the little lone gosling...

CUTE!!! I have a Silkie named Uno-he was my first chick, and the second one didn't hatch for 3 days!

taking on the Spanish theme the second gosling will be Dos and if we get a third it will be Tres...


mom and dad are Fred and Wilma with my second adult pair being Barney and Betty...

up dated...Uno sitting in the kitchen sink chattering away at me while the water ran ...waiting for it to get swimming depth...his sibling, Dos, hatched last night and is doing well...

I only let his swim for a few minutes...he seemed to enjoy the heck out of it...he is my first baby goose ever and I am sorry if I tire anyone...he gives me much joy...
