Bright & early this morning - which BTW was the coldest morning yet this month at 22 - Annabelle kidded with an adorable little broken black agouti doeling! As with her last kidding, everything went great! Valentine is sired by Oreo and it shows - she looks very much like her 1/2 brother, Percie.

Now, that is my kind of valentine. I would much rather that than some mushy card and flowers that die. How cute is that. What do you do with your goats, milk? Just curious.

Quote:Really they're just pets. We're getting into milking this year with Java and we've purchased a milking bred buck to help us produce better milking lines. When we do milk, it will just be for our home use.

She looks like the twin to my Peewee!
Please explain: Broken Black Agouti? I know it is a color term but could you explain it?
