Wow, what a couple cuties! Thanks for posting Kate! I love how the pictures show how Sugar is such an attentive little mama and can't keep her mouth/nose away from her brand new babes!

My hands are not tiny, but small. Kate has told me it will be a challenge, but it is worth trying to me.
I like the smaller goats for my small acreage. Isn't she cute. He looks like my pygmy boy.......just adorable. Al my animals are my pets, what can I say....
The smaller teats aren't that much harder to milk, really, just takes a little practice to get it. I'm spoiled by my main milkers, Sarah and Marybelle, who have thumb sized teats. Production is the same despite teat size. DH is working on purchasing a milking machine for me so I can milk more goats, and utilize my smaller teated girls. We've had to milk many of them for various reasons (singleton kid nursing on one side, getting milk on a recent freshener to come in, drying up after weaning) and it's really not that bad, I just have to use fewer fingers...more just index finger and thumb.
legacyln - Sugar is such a good momma. She just adores her kids (as most of our girls do). I love to capture those moments right after kidding when the dams settle down and seem to enjoy the moment - reminds me of when the nurses brought my babies to me after my c-sections and it all seemed worth it.
