I have three to four month olds, two bearded silkies one bantam Cochin. I want to start introducing them to the five I have, 1 one pound little chicken, 2 silkies (one is bearded), and two black austrolorps.
The young ones are half the size of the adult silkies. The BA are on top of peck order but are not aggressive. the young ones are outside but in different part of yard.
Do I really have to wait to introduce them when about same size?! They share a yard and I find it difficult with the way it is right now.

The young ones do not have to be the same size. You just need to make sure the older chickens get along with the younger ones. Are you separating the young ones where the older ones can see them?

This is the yard the little ones sleep in here in a small secure small again coop thing I made as temporary. The big ones get let out to come here to graze and ruin my yard lol (sorry for the messy yard too tired to deal with right now). They can see each other only when I let the big ones out here. The big ones actual coop and pen are behind the house.

You can try letting the small ones range in the yard with the larger ones to introduce them. If the older ones do attack the small ones, there should be enough space for them to get away.
