In the Brooder
Hello all!
My “baby” chicks are roughly 13-14 weeks old! They have been in a chicken tractor. My older pullets have been able to scope them out for sometime now. I haven’t introduced them without one of them being behind a fence. My young girls are still smaller than my older girls. But this weekend it is going to be dropping into the 20s, it may possibly snow and their chicken tractor isn’t going to be warm enough for them.
Do you think if i start introductions face to face with them that I can have them in the big coop together by this weekend? I don’t want my big girls to hurt my little girls.
we’ve never had a pecking problem but our older 6 have been together the entire time.
Any and all advice is welcomed!
