Papa Pilgrim and Miss Mayflower our newest goose additions. We were looking for an Embden gander but wound up with this pair instead. She's still a bit unsettled, but is calming down.

are they quiet, and how often do they honk?

They are much quieter than the chinese goslings we have. They only seem to honk when something upsets them.

As far as I know, I have 2 males and 1 female, though the 1 has yet to lay an egg. 'She' does act different than the two that I know are males, so I'm keeping my

She may be molting, I'm not sure. The wing feathers on both were clipped when we got them. The cochins in the pen next door are constantly shedding feathers and they get blown around a lot. The purple martins should have the softest nests in the county.
