Introducing?

I have just sold 3 chickens (2 roosters and 1 hen) so now I have and opening for 3 or so more birds. I have been trying to find some hens around 4 months old but couldnt find any locally. I can only find chicks that were about 1-2 months old.

I am wondering if I could perhaps put these chicks in with two of my 4 month old pullets.

Would there be any trouble?

When do you suggest putting the 4 month olds in with my laying hens?

they should be fine, sometimes they stay far away from each other !! As for laying hen they may peck at them like bullies, you will have to watch them and see how they get along. that way you will know if you need to seperate them.
