Introducting myself.

Hello, I am from Central Nebraska and have had chickens for 5 years. We did have them on the farm when I was growing up but they were mostly white Leghorns and I was not too fond of them. When we decided to get chickens we started with Rhode Island Reds and Buff Orpingtons. Last year I wanted to get some bantams and ended up with two Red Cochin hens, two roosters, and three Buff Brahma bantams. This year as we were down to three LF we got some more chicks from Cackle. We got two Speckled Sussex, a silver laced Wyandotte and a golden laced Wyandotte. So far I would say the Speckled Sussex and Buff Orpingtons have been my favorite, though I do love to hear our little roosters crow. They can be naughty though and we had to separate them recently. Now each group of hens has their own little Red Cochin rooster.
