introducting new rooster to my hens

I have 9 hens and a 2 month old that I think is a rooster. The hens are Cochins and Cornish. A new rooster was given to me that was purchased from a Mexican flea market. He kinda looks like a Gallo Giro cross with something. I understand he was probably raised for fighting but he was too small so he was sold. I currently have him in a large cage in the yard with the hens. My question is do you think he will hurt the 2 month old and how will he do with my hens?

There are game breeders and game threads on BYC - if you put it in the search box some should pop up. I would hazard a guess that the hens would be okay - probably enough to gang up on your rooster. I wouldn't put the young chick out with him though.
