1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Fairly new. I grew up with chickens in our barn, but never really had an interest until I saw my first silkie about a year ago. My husband and I are addicted!!!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
Silkie, polish, Serama, and 1 Sebright.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Learning and teaching our children the importance of agriculture.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Spending time with my husband and two children. I enjoy gardening, being outside and transforming our small farm by decorating playhouses for my “chicken village”
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a wonderful husband who supports my bantam addiction. Mom to a beautiful young lady, and a handsome young man. “Mama Goose” for 2 Mini pigs, 2 horse, 4 cats, 2 dogs, and 16 chickens on a small farm near San Antonio Texas.
