Hi my name is Tony I am retired and I keep chickens. So far I have 7 chickens with the eldest being 10 years old. I have lost a few chickens not entirely sure why they died. I do not know what breeds I have except for one which is a rode island red. All chickens were rescue chickens and I built a nice size coop for them. I feed them with mixed layers pellets and rolled corn from the egg farm. They are laying well with approximately 7 eggs every other day. I wanted to join the forum to pick up hints and tips on how to look after my chickens well.
