(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have had 4 hens and 2 Roos before years ago but I am a chicken novice.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I just purchased 9 Guinea yesterday

(3) What breeds do you have?
Just Guinea Fowl at the moment but will be adding show quality Orpingtons to another large coop soon.

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Googled trying to find information on Orp color genetics and a thread came up.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
We show dogs - My boyfriend is a professional handler and I am a handler and breeder. We have Labs, Beagles and specialize in Hound, Working, Sporting and Herding but also have experience in other groups. We are growing a garden, looking into goats; mini cattle; pigs and other self-sustainable animals and hobbies.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We are upper 40's-lower 50's couple looking at retirement soon and now live in NW Florida.

YES more dog people, we have tons of judges, handlers, breeders, field trialers, agility, seek & rescue, on and on. You are most welcome here. I used to breed and show Cockers many many years ago and also worked for a handler, and had a grooming shop.
