Greetings,
We recently bought a hobby farm in New Mexico and are going to be getting our first chickens *so excited* !!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
New and not yet
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
0
(3) What breeds do you have?
We are thinking of Anacona
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I like taking care of animals, am of course interested in the eggs and expanding my horizons.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
organic dirt farming, conservation and alot of reading.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Two dogs a Creme Golden and a Terrier. I am an MSW (Go Huskies!!).
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Google and I liked the easy design of the website and forum. It's also not facebook or reddit which is a plus for me.
