Hi,I am new to this forum and would like to introduce myself and my lovely girls.I live at the beautiful east coast of England and I am a owner of five chickens and three chicks. The two oldest ones are three year old black Marans and called Goujon( my favourite) and Nugget. The three two year old are black copper Marans and the Names are Kiev,Noggin and Molé. All named by my son..We also had ones a beautiful cuckoo Marans cockerel (Chasseur)but he was aggressive dangerous and had to go unfortunately. Just after we got rid of Chasseur,my favourite girl Goujon got broody ( first time) and I always wanted some chicks so I ordered some fertile eggs of which three hatched four weeks ago,Korma,Tikka and Omlett, they are easter eggers und should lay green to blueish eggs. Now I hope the three chicks are all pullets and I hope you could help by sexing them.Any idea or is it to early to find out whatthey are?

Welcome to Backyard Chickens! We are glad you joined the flock!:frow BYC is a helpful site providing all the information you need to know about poultry! Getting rid of the aggressive cockerel is a good idea, No one likes to be constantly attacked. Hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do!
