Hello to all. Fairly new to keeping chickens. We Have 2 x Australorps 12 months old, 1 x Barnevelda 13 months old and a Silver laced Wyandotte 11 months old.
All chickens are laying except the Barnevelda who was the only bird to moult, so she is just about ready to begin again.
I noticed only yesterday that the right foot of the eldest Australorp appeare3d to be swollen and she was favouring it slightly. I examined it last night and could find no trace of any injury. Therefore I think she might have scaly leg mite.
Could help me with a treatment for this please?
