Hello! I joined BYC to meet fellow chicken enthusiasts, learn more about chickens, and to ask questions

I have 15 chickens in total but I only know what breed a few actually are.

I don't quite remember when I got my first batch, it seems like they have been part of my life forever. I can't imagine living without them! While I'm not new to chickens, there's always more to learn about them and I look forward to it!

My family always had chickens, and I am sure the only thing I ever heard about "breeds" was that some of them were -- as we called them in southern Iowa -- "banties."

It's nice to know what you have, but more importantly, it's clear you adore them all, regardless of their pedigree.
