(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yep. I’m brand new and got my first chicks in March of this year.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Seven
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 Rhode Island Reds
2 Bantams (not sure of the breed but one is a rooster)
3 Plymouth Barred Rocks
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I LOVE to read! I’d read all day if I could.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Husband and young adult daughter. Hubby wants a mini farm (in the works) and daughter loves all animals. We have an older cat (17 years) and a dog (almost 3). My daughter also has a bearded dragon and hubby had an 80 gal fish tank but down-sided to a smaller one last year and will be getting a Pac-Man frog. Like I said, they love animals…and fish.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community
Learned about BYC this year by a random google search. I figured I’d join because any questions I googled took me to a forum on this site.
