I'm new to chickens and just getting started on this exciting journey! I currently have 50 chickens.My flock consists of Bovans Brown hens they're hardy and great layers!.My favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens are collecting fresh eggs every morning and watching their quirky personalities shine through as they free-range in the yard. Outside of chickens, I enjoy gardening, hiking, and tinkering with DIY projects around Wollothe homestead. I'm a merchant by day, I stumbled upon BYC while researching coop designs online about a month ago, lurked for a couple weeks soaking up advice, and finally joined this awesome community to connect with fellow chicken enthusiasts and get tailored tips for my new flock!
