Hi. I have been keeping chickens for a couple of years now. I started with 4 Naked Neck hens, 4 Red Sex Link hens and 1 Bantam Leghorn rooster. My flock has grown and now I have 3 coops with large chicken yards. I live in Colorado in the mountains and we have lots of black bears, mountain lions, hawks, eagles, coyotes, fox and all sorts of other predators. My flock now contains: Bantam Leghorn rooster, Naked Neck hens, red sex Link hen, Mottled Houdans, White Silkies, Dark Brahmas, Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, a pair of Red Dorkings, Frizzled Silkie/Cochin mix, Barred Rocks, Bantam Old English Game gen, Bantam Maked Neck, Bantam Americauna, some barnyard mixes, Rouen drakes and Bronze Heritage turkey. It's an addiction! Lol. I have Cream Brabanter and Frizzled Polish eggs in my incubator currently. And 13 Whiting True Blue chicks will be arriving Wednesday. I am blessed with an understanding husband. I live in the country. This evening someone dumped 7 young chickens off in the bar ditch by my mail box. 4 white and 3 red. I think the white are Leghorns. The Red may be Rhode Island Reds. They are currently in quarantine before I can add them to one of my flocks. After all my eggs hatch and my chicks arrive, I am going to focus on the breeds I wanted to breed and show.

Oh! We'll, I posted (on the thread about the dumped chickens) that you'd soon be in eggs, but sounds like you have eggs a plenty! Looking for a link for you...stand by.
