Hi
So I have cortunix quails.
Of the eggs we got we had 1 male and 1 female.
The male overmated the female. So I got 2 more females.
We introduced them on the kitchen floor as its neutral. New bird A was lovely and docile and our boy (george) got his end away.
Pip or existing female is looking scared. But no pecking or being pecked.
However new bird B is growling and taking a run up at George and pecking him once and legging it.
George is crowing alot and grunting.
New bird B is grunting alot
Pip is being lovely.
New bird a is being lovely too.
Right now they are separated into their normal pairs in their homes that are separated by wire so they can see and smell each other.
Any tips on getting naughty new bird who is growling and pecking to calm down? Plus will George ever stop shouting!?
