Introduction of new Hens

Hi,
I currently have 2 easter egger pullets, they are about 15 weeks old now, I was thinking of adding a third wheel to the flock. I got both at the same time, so my qution is if I add another pullet to the flock from a differnt breeder, will they fight or try to kill the new addition.

Mixed flocks should get along.

But you need to study on how to introduce a new one to the flock, here's an article that can help:

Expect new pecking order spats whenever a newbie is introduced.

Personally I would never add a single hen. I have 3 hens because one of mine died. They still hangout as a pair and a sole hen. I would only ever introduce new hens in pairs or more to reduce stress and bullying. I normally have their pens next to each other for a month and then do short and supervised introductions and see how things go. I'd get them to sleep together on the night before I introduce properly and then supervise in the morning. Hope that helps.
