Hello,
I have been reading BYC for awhile now to find answers to questions about my chickens. I decided to join so I can ask specific questions and get specific answers. I have a Chocolate Orpington rooster (Rudy), a Buff Orpington hen (Molly), and two Ameraucana hens (Beth and Bonnie). They are almost one year and 4 months old. I had a previous flock in 2016, but they were killed by predators. My current flock has a much better coop and safe run. They free range during the day, and at night they roost in the upper part of the coop and I close the run's door. Back in the 1970s I raised a dozen Rhode Island Reds. I live near Shippensburg, in South Central PA.
