I never ever dewormed my chickens. Don’t like the idea of putting poison in them if not necessary. It comes in the eggs too. Never noticed worms in their poop.

Research (University Wageningen) claims dewormers are not good for the health of chickens. A low worm infestation is not so bad for the health of chickens as the dewormer (for goats) you used.
