(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am fairly new to chickens. My family got a flock about a year ago from friends who were moving and didn't want to take the chickens with, but sadly a raccoon killed most of the members a few months ago. We got chicks to help rebuild, and they are currently 3 months old.

Barred Rocks, Golden Laced Wyandottes, Rhode Island Reds, a Jersey Giant, a Buff, and a Buckeye.

I was researching about baby chicks.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I play softball and will be starting college this fall.

We also have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 6 turtles, and 6 fish. I also have a little sister.
