Introduction

Hello My Chicken Friends!!

I have been a member of BYC since 2015 but haven't introduced myself. Seems like a good time to get started!

I have been married 22 years. We have 3 teenagers. We also have a dog and 2 parakeets.

We started keeping chickens in 2015.
Currently we have 16 chickens which 9 of them are roosters!!

We have a nice combination of breeds.
My hens are (name/breed);

1. Bitty: Barred Rock
2. Owo: Americana/EasterEgger (grey)
3. Ginger: Japanese bantam (black)
4. Cocoa: Silkie/Japanese bantam (black)
5. Buttercup: Silkie/Japanese bantam (white)
6. Dina: Silkie/Japanese bantam (white)
7. Beaker: Millie Le flur (white/oatmeal)
8. Dumpling: Cochran (grey)

My roosters are (name/breed);

1. Cookie: Millie Le fleur mix (multi-color)
2. Jojo: Millie Le fleur mix (multi-color)
3. Duckie: Dwarf Cochran mix (grey)
4. Hot Dog #1: Dwarf Cochran mix (grey)
5. Hot Dog #2: Dwarf Cochran mix (grey)
6. Prince: Dwarf Cochran mix (white)
7. Goofy: Japanese bantam/Silkie/Dwarf Cochran (black)
8. Saki: Japanese bantam/Silkie/Dwarf Cochran (black)

A hobby I enjoy (other than hanging out with my chickens) is knitting. When my chickens and I can hang out together and I can knitt, that is my biggest joy!!
