I will answer the questions on the introduction so you guys can get an idea on who I am.
1) I am fairly new to chickens, getting my first 6 on Christmas 2016.
2) Depending on the time of reading this, I have between 10-15 chickens, with right now having 11.
3) I have 3 Red sexlinks, 1 White leghorn, 1 Danish leghorn, 3 easter eggers, 1 golden laced Wyandotte, and 2 Rhode island reds.
4) I found out about this website when I needed research for getting future chickens.
5) my hobbies mostly include hanging out with my flock.
6) I have 3 dogs (2 of which killed chickens), a parakeet who needs to die (she is named Meanie for a reason, and she is over 6 years old by now) and my 11 chickens, who we consider family, or pets, as opposed to just farm animals. We keep them in a custom made coop that exceeds 450 lb. and can house 16 chickens with a lot of room, 40 if it's cramped, since there are 2 sections, and a large run with food and water.
We love our chickens, and sell our eggs, which are trusted by the small sum of people we give them to.
