Nice to meet you Bantam Mama, I really enjoyed your intro. Polish and silkies seem to be the ones that get plucked- because they look so different. Maybe cutting back crests and beards somewhat would lessen the interest in them, also make it easier to see and maybe avoid pluckers.

Nice to meet you as well, and thanks for the suggestion! I think Lauren Bacaw (profile photo) could probably use a trim around the face. :)

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock or other critters, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
