Introduction

Hello, I am new to the chicken life. I have two chickens 1 Radio Kelso hen and 1 grey leggged hatch. I have had them for over a month now and she has just went broody, she laid about 10 eggs and had been broody for about 4 days now. I am seeking information on the breeds and just basic chick care. I hope to meet some fellow chicken people (be nice if had similar chickens).

Yes the breed is declared a “fighting breed”
I rescued them from someone doing so.
I plan on making them fat and happy. They are the first chickens I have ever owned and I plan on getting more in the same way I got the ones I have. I posted only for information on the breed cause I am new to EVERYTHING chicken.

Be aware that fighting breeds and their descendants can be unusually aggressive. You'll want to keep a close eye on them for any signs of bullying. Pinless Peepers may be useful if you get a mean one- they're little glasses-things that fit onto the chicken's beak so it can't see directly ahead and therefore won't peck others.

Thank you. And I have yet to see aggression. I can pick them up and cuddle lol and they almost instantly go to sleep (I think) in my arms every time I hold them.
