My name is Barb, this is a new project for my grandson, boyfriend and myself. I bought our chickens at Tractor Supply at the end of March. We have 16 chickens. We decided to buy the chickens for our own eggs and actually purchased a few extra in case we loss any. We raised them in the house and slowly moved them out to the coop. We live in Ohio and this Spring has been a little cooler than usual. I found out about BackYardChickens in a magazine.
I live on a small farm and currently have a dog, cat and now our chickens. We raised a few turkeys last year.
