Hello all!
This is the first forum I've ever actually joined. My boyfriend and I live on the Gulf Coast of Texas and have been working hard over the last year to grow our fowl flocks.
We raise:
Domestic Ducks
Mallards
Bob White Quail
Asian Quail
Leghorn Chickens
ISA Brown Chickens
We collect the eggs for hatching and pickling and selling whatever else we can. My 6 year old loves all of the animals and helps us feed, water, and collect eggs daily. We also have two Labrador Retrievers which we train to bird hunt (hence the Mallards).
We currently are living on a small 1 acre rental property and things are getting tight. Thankfully we just found our 'forever home' that sits beautifully on 5 acres. I'm most excited to get more chickens! My boyfriend is most excited to get more dogs!
I'm excited to share and learn and get to know more like minded, birdy people like ourselves!
