Introduction

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
I'd very cautiously, on a short leash, let your dogs one at a time check out the chicks. You will get an idea if they are interested in them for friendship or dinner pretty quickly.
All of my dogs would kill first, ask questions later.

I am new to chickens by that I still haven't Got them I'm planning to get 3 RIR and 1 Plymouth Rock. The reason I am getting chickens is because I am a animal lover and like the idea of chickens. I also have two dogs ( lab mixes ) I don't know if they will try to eat them.
Hey neighbor. I'm in Tucson. We keep ice bottles for all of our animals. My chickens free-range, but they'll come on the porch where it's cool and shady. I put ice bottles in places they like to lay. Then they can lay next to the bottles to cool off.
In your case, I'd build a good, dog-proof chicken coop. Even the best dogs can't resist fresh chicken, if they haven't been trained to stay away.
