Hi my name is Perry. I have had backyard chickens all of my life (58). The number of chickens I have at any one time ranges from 20 to 75. I have at one time or another raised most of the standard breeds Barred Rock, Rhode Island Reds, Austrolop, Cochins, Orpington etc... I have raised many types of bantams and other exotic breeds. I currently have Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rock, Wyandotte, Black Americauna, Shamos, and Black Breasted Red Old English Game. Some of them are true range free, some are free range in the day and locked up at night, some are permanently caged, some are in chicken tractor.
