(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? they are excellent therapists, comedians and best friends.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Arts and Crafts and Gamming

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. 18 years as an Animal Control Officer, 3 dogs and 2 teenagers.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I have been reading the threads here for over 2 years and thought joining would be beneficial.

Hello and welcome! I find my flock to be a great stress reliever. I work weekend nights, and the first thing I do when I come home in the morning is to feed/water and check on the chickens. It is so calming to tend to the animals, even if just for a few minutes, especially after a stressful night.
