Hey there,
Name is Kaisha (kay-shuh). I'm a stay at home mom. I have almost an obsession with animals. We have 3 cats, 2 dogs, a pot belly big, and now 4 goldstar ducks, soon to be chick and more ducks. I've never owned birds before and I'm less than a week in. I'm freaking out because I dont know what I'm doing. Please read my "Newb" thread in the ducks section. We live in a small town, in a small house with a huge yard and what's to be my first big garden. My lifes goal is to become almost completely self sufficient with our food and energy needs. We've already raised pigs and plan on doing that and more when we get a bigger place. And also saving up to go back to school to be a veterinarian but that's a little ways down the road with what's going on it the world right now.
Anywho. I look forward to meeting some of you and appreciate all advice and encouragement! Excited for the birdy journey I'm taking.
