I'm fairly new to chickens. We started with 10 a year ago, but I downsized by 1 rooster last fall.
We have a few different breeds, but my favorites is my buff Cochin....my least favorite is my brown leghorn rooster.
I am amazed at the different personalities these little guys have. Not really amazed by rooster, just think he is an a$$.
Aside from this, I am looking to begin work towards my PhD in Public Administration/Social Policy this fall.
Over the course of this past year, I have often found myself looking to your page for guidance. As we are hoping to incubate and hatch some chicks soon, I thought it was a perfect time to join your community.
