I have two silkie chicks that are 2 weeks old and 10 that are 4 weeks old . They have been separated till now when should I let them in with the others . When I have let them interact they stay close but still seperate . Is it it better to add them younger even if they sent accepted yet or wait till they are older. When will they have a better chance of being accepted?

Hi! I would suggest that you introduce them together at a young age so that they can quickly adapt. If you notice the chicks fighting each other, you can try doing the look-but-don't-touch method, where the chicks can see each other but not attack until they get used to one another. If they are vastly different sizes, you might want to wait until they're about the same size, but they're only going to keep growing. Try keeping them together for a while and see how it goes, maybe giving it a couple days so that they can get to know each other. Hopefully someone with a little more experience will be along soon.
