(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
This is my second time raising chickens -- we stopped for a few years after a devastating loss due to a predator invasion after a blizzard that left me a bit traumatized for a while.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
A total of fifteen.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Amberlink, Rhode Island Reds, Australorps, Rhode Island Blue, Barred Rock, and White Leghorn
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I enjoy their antics, and find them sort of meditative. Of course, I also enjoy their eggs!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Writing, language, reading, and film.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
